Tulipgirl6's Journal, 17 September 2014

Not a good week. I've made up for all the gluten and potato chips I haven't had all year in just two days. On a positive note, DH started his new job. I am feeling very unsettled. Haven't been going to the gym or walking because of my foot which does not feel too much better. My big boy's b-day party is over and it was a success. Baby's eye surgery seems to be healing well. He also had his stitches taken out from the fall. He walked straight into the wall two times today . .. . . Started a mommy and me class with the baby which I really did not like for whatever reason. I'm hoping to get out of it somehow and get a refund. And: My weight loss ticker is up to date! Why am I feeling so unsettled and anxious? It always happens at this time of year. I hope it passes soon. I took baby to the park today and there was this beautiful woman who was just so peaceful; she was there with her son. She somehow inspired me. I have to not let my husband overshadow me. I am a good parent! I have a pedicure appointment tomorrow, maybe that'll alleviate some of the stress off my feet! Ok, night-night friends. Hope you are all doing well. I have to catch up on what's going on with everyone!

It sounds to me like you've had a lot going on, both good and bad stressors. That could have something to do with the unsettled anxious feeling. I get that way this time of year too, and for me it's because we get so busy with the kids in sports, school activites, and work seems to get busier. Throw in my parents moving and me applying for a new job and that adds a whole new level. I think it's great that you saw someone who inspired you! Wherever you can find motivation. But you know what's funny, you've probably been that woman that someone else has looked and and said "I wish I could be like her" and you didn't even know it. :)

Tulip: Mars said it well ... You've probably been that woman that someone else has looked and said I wish I could be like her" - I have seen it happen time and time again. Be inspired by others, that's always good - but don't forget to be proud of yourself too!
