jeremysgirl's Journal, 11 March 2011

Well this has nothing to do with eating or dieting. I think, perhaps, as he is qucikly approaching 40, that my husband is having a midlife crisis. It is also strange that we will celebrate our 7th anniiversary in April.

This is his first marriage, my second. We have truely had a happy and good life together. I don't think there is someone else, or that there has been someone else. Something is just different. He drives truck, is self employed, and money is usually pretty tight. I get the impression that he sometimes think of how it might be better, like before he was married, it he would have stayed single.

Maybe I am just losing my mind. I am hoping we will be able to have a chance to talk when he gets home this weekend.

Thanks for listening....sometimes it just feels better to just get it out. God's Blessings.

I think everyone questions their life choices at some point in life. It doesn't mean they aren't happy. Open communication is a good thing.

Love is a powerful source. It can push through almost anything. I will keep you in my prayers and hope that you all get past the 7 year hump and continue on for many more happy years. God Bless you Jeremy'sgirl.

I don't know what he did or said to make you feel this way, but perhaps... he is worried about money. or worried about being away from home so much. or worried about who knows what. men do that! they worry in silence a lot! But because I don't know the details (and I don't need to know them) it's interesting to me that YOU think he might be going thru a midlife crisis. That you would bring up other women, whether you think he has strayed or not. Have you asked yourself WHY you are thinking this way? Are you feeling insecure about something? Are you missing him tremendously while he is away? Etc? I too am praying for you both, that you would have lots of time to reconnect this weekend, to hold each other, look deeply into each other's eyes, appreciate the goodness, hold on to the willingness to 'make it work'... cause it can be work.. but it is OH SO WORTH IT! These last two days of tragedy across the world have brought up a lot of insecurities in people. Their own mortality? How quickly it can all change? A new appreciation for our loved ones. Hoping you can rely on your love together to come back to 'center' w/ one another. You both need each other, even when you're apart!
