I am NOT boo-hooing, I am just letting you all know what I CHOSE to do. I made a choice, after thinking it through, and asking how I would feel afterwards, I ate a rather large bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats.

I was not stressed, angry, or bored. I just wanted to eat them. If I don't lose any , or perhaps even gain this week, it is what it is. I do not feel as if I have "fallen off the wagon", nor am I beating myself up over the choice I made. I will continue on eating the atkins way, and not feel as if I am starting over.

I just wanted to share that with you. I know that there will be things, either on my journey, or even maintainence, that won't be the atkins way, but I know that I can carefully choose when to eat something out of the scope of where I am.

good for you! Sometimes we need to have something we really want. You ate it and moved on.

We all cheat whether we admit it or not. No one is 100 % on this diet all the time. Thats unrealistic. I eat popcorn every weekend on movie night with my kids and I dont log it or count it as carbs or whataever.Good for you. Sometimes you have to indulge so you do stay on track.

A very wise person once told me if you really want something, wait 10 mins. if you still want it, then have some. Don't have the whole box, just some. If you do not meet this need, it will stay with you, nagging and picking away until you have the whole thing! Everything in moderation.

in my opinion, it's not bad. you could have had a bag of doritos or a half gallon of ice cream or a box of girl scout cookies - mini wheats is not an awful food. sometimes we just need to have that comfort food - good or bad - you did it, acknowledged it and moved on. by george, i believe that is progress!!
