You may not remember me, I have not been on here since April. One of my last journals announced that @ 44, we were surprisedly pregnant. At 7 weeks, we lost the baby. It was the most horrible thing I have ever experienced in my life. That led me on a five month eating frenzy in which I ballooned right back up to my starting weight of 178. In mid October, something clicked. Enough was enough. I returned to my old friend, Atkins. I got a treadmill, and walk regularly. I have lost 22lbs, and I feel better than I have in a long time. I hope that you all are doing well, and am sorry that I haven't been around to know what is going on with you all. God bless you all!

Hello friends. Apologies for not being around for over a week. After finding out that we were having another baby, well, let's just say it took a while to get over being in shock!
Now excitement is taking over the shock. This truely is a blessing.
I am continuing on my atkins way. I am sure that the Dr. will want me to increase my carb intake, but we'll see.
I think that I am eating healthy. I do not think that not eating sugar and grains and such is a bad thing. I had gestational diabetes with my last pregnancy, so chances are likely that it will occur again. If so, I will at least have a good control of eating well before it strikes.
I am still walking, and doing crunches (on an exercise ball). I feel great, and love and appreciate all that is done here.
