After a good weigh in on Friday I kind of fell off the wagon over the weekend. I started not feeling well and ended up staying home from work, so I kind of munched all day. Saturday and Sunday I guess weren't horrible, but I'm sure I had more food than I needed. Onward this week though. If I keep looking back I'll only stumble as I try to move forward.

On Saturday I still wasn't feeling 100% but we had a flower bed project that we've been wanting to get done and we managed to finish it. So glad we got it done. We pulled weeds, laid down a layer of the black weed protector, then moved a bunch of river rock from one area of our yard into that flower bed. It was a lot of work and that was all I did for a workout, but it was a good full body workout. :)

This week should be a more laid back week, only one ball game (if it doesn't rain) and not much else on the agenda. Plenty of time for workouts. I'm probably going to try to leave Saturday as a rest day because we have a wedding to go to. Since we have nothing going on this evening I'm going to try to do a run. My hips are still bothering me, but I found some good stretches, so we'll see if those help. I'm just going to take it slow and walk when I need to.

I hope everyone has a great Monday!!

Sorry about the hip pain - I have the same issue right now and I am icing the area at night and using Advil some days. YARD work is an awesome workout - good job!

The past is in the books and no sense in looking back too much, you're not going that way. Onward and downward!

I have hip pain too, what stretches do you have Mary?

Aggie, I found some stretches online. The first 2 are on all fours, raise your leg back straight then up and back in for 8 reps per leg, then raise the leg (still bent) up to the side 8 reps per leg. The next is just laying flat on your back with legs extended, then pulling the leg into the chest for 30 seconds and repeat with the other leg. The last 2 are standing and having something for support, first is leg raises, raise leg straight out behind you, 8 reps per side, then hold your leg up, in like a high march position leg bent, then move it out to the side and back in, 8 reps per side. They have made me feel better after I'm done, so I'm going to keep doing them and hope they work. :)
