Running/Treadmill Challenges - 01/27/17 to 02/02/14

4.35 miles or 7 km

Only got out 2x as the weather was extremely cold with high winds! Hopefully this week will be better!

My son's birthday parties were great! He was very happy and had a lot of fun. First 2 of his friends from daycare came over on the Saturday morning around 10 and played with him until 1 o'clock. My friend from work came over around noon with her 2 girls and her husband and they stayed until just after 3pm. We played outside and made a snowman! They my DH's family came over around 4:30 and stayed until about 8pm. So it was a good day with lots to do and all I served was snack foods - veggies with dip, fruit, spinach dip and bread, cheese, keilbossa and crackers, chips, cheezies, meatballs, caesar salad plus cake! And I would post pictures of this cake if I knew how!!! All in all it was a great and fun day!! On Sunday we went to my parents' and had another party for my son. My mom made dinner and we had more cake!! But then I worked it off but cleaning out 2 calf pens and moving 50 bales of hay and helped with chores. Good weekend but I noticed this morning that the weight on the scale is creeping back up. So, I gotta get out and move my butt today. Weather is good for a run but I can see I will have to run on the road as the sidewalks are covered in ice.

Sounds like a great weekend! I'm positive all those barn chores worked off most of the food so your slight uptick is only temporary. :)
