skwhite's Journal, 12 January 2014

I love cooking and recipes. Ever since starting this journey I have been trying to make my recipes healthier without sacrificing taste. I am really starting to notice in cookbooks when they "healthy" doesn't really mean they are. If I think I might want to make the recipe I type it into my cookbook and see what the calories are. Did that today for a recipe of zucchini blondies, 328 calories a serving. Nope not really "healthy" but thanks though.

It may be "healthy" in a way that it doesn't have substances that damage your body but it definitely isn't gonna make you lose weight if it has too much calories heheh :)
