Ok. I'm back from vacation and gained a tiny bit but nothing that wasn't fluctuating to begin with so I'm thrilled.
Cabo was amazing. Swam with a dolphin and held a baby tiger and a baby lion...LOVED IT! The break was much needed for both my boyfriend and I. He came back to a lot of CRAP at work and I have to drop $1K on a car I hit before I left. Tell you what...it's not worth "doing the right thing" and leaving a friggin note...my Christmas will now be a bumper on some stranger's Jeep Cherokee. sigh.
Anyways, once that's behind me, life again will be back to normal....sorta. I came home to some bad news...a relative died of cancer, another one is having a tumor removed from her spine and a friend of my sister's is having to have his face removed from his skull after a REALLY bad motorcycle accident. Knock on wood...everyone REAL close to me better stay healthy....if not, I'll kick their ass!
Hope everyone in this world is doing well! I've missed ya all and hope to get back on here more often!

How nice to hear from you and I've told a lot of my buddies lately, I'm jealous. Hugely jealous.
Now, if you didn't already know, people do not die of cancer overnight, you were not even in the country for the Motorcycle Accident and never find fault in being honest. It is a wonderful thing and Karma sucks!!
You my dear are only responsibe for yourself and accidents happen all the time! Stay healthy and reminiss in the good things in life...

I agree with stormi, I believe in karma and you do want to do the right thing or it will come back to bite you. It seems like a lot of big things happen around the holidays, good or bad. I hope you get the good stuff happening to you for the rest of the season.

Thanks guys. I know I technically did the right thing, but it's hard...my Christmas is shot now and it wasn't going to be that great anyways...oh well, at least I don't have kids and adults understand, right? Heh.
Overall life is good in my little Colorado world...it's the family and friends out of state that keep causing the headaches! tee hee.

Sounds like you REALLY did need a break! But you did the right thing even though it hurts! My husband & daughter-in-law did the dolphin thing once. It was beautiful! I am sorry to hear about the family health problems & especially the loss of your relative. Even when we know it is coming it is difficult! Stay strong & remember they don't have pain anymore!
