Ok, so this is new.

I have been craving donuts...like BADLY..for months.
I was basically wanting them so much I was looking at pictures of donuts when I had a break in my day....it was like bakery porn.....all kinds of donuts-glazed, chocolate, jelly, cake donuts. I was dreaming about donuts. And crullers. And eclairs. You get the idea.

So, I decided I couldnt hold out anymore and made my hubby go buy me several kinds of donut holes and 2 regular donuts and bring them to my office. I was fully prepared to sample all of them. And live with the consequences.

I open the first box.....and the smell of all that sugar and pastry turned my stomach.

I ate ONE small donut hole and sent the rest to my husband's office and shared some with my co-workers.

I have eaten small snacks and sweets since I started this diet change but apparently I have a nose now that can detect what my body perceives as TOO MUCH SUGAR.

Self preservation, maybe?

Bakery Porn! lol ~~~~ Isn't it amazing how foods that used to fulfill us have lost so much appeal? Awesomeness!

I ended up eating 4 total. That's one serving, 230 calories. Not super horrible, esp considering I spread them out over hours. Still, I take it as a personal victory, as the old me would've eaten 20 or 30 before stopping for the night. lol. This morning, the craving for them is gone and I'm good. :)

Good job! Your body has been trained to look out for you now. Your nose and stomach worked together to fool your brain into not eating more. Awesome.
