Also “don’t be discouraged in well-doing”. Just stick with it and then eventually your body WILL let go of some more weight. I was plateaued for about three weeks too. Then three or four days ago it started to go down again.

Yeah I was in the same situation for 6 years on Fat Secret. For me, the first step was logging everything I ate every day. Seems you have a good start on that one. Second thing I did was stop listen to people on this site, and just started looking at the food and weight logs of people like me and saw what worked. Good luck!

That is about what I weighed Jan 2018 (132) and it took me about 10 months to lose 8 lbs. Then I learned about Keto and Intermittent Fasting. I knew I could do the IF better than Keto by just shortening my eating window to 8 hours at first, then maybe less, for 2 meals a day. I've never achieved true Keto because I average maybe 30 to 35 carbs a day, plus too much protein, which will also turn to sugar in one's blood if too high. I decided I wanted to get back to the 118 I weighed in October 2017. I gave up alcohol, sweets, rice, all grains, potatoes, all fruit, most beans, milk, just for a short time to see what happened. A week ago, I weighed less than 109. I did binge a couple of days ago and am at 111, but it is wonderful to be trying on all my old size 4's. It's been a lot of years, but it is very gratifying even though my body has changed with age. I'v lost 2 2/4" inches in height and gotten thick in the middle. But at a low weight I can still get in small clothes. Now, I repeat, I feel this is for a limited time, and I hope to add in a little fruit, and go low on pork eventually. I need to work on getting Keto with low carbs which turn to sugar in our bodies, and only moderate protein. If I ate what you eat I would balloon up and weigh more than you do. Christmas is the only day I've had alcohol since November. I didn't think I could ever give up so much, but it helps to think I won't have to do it forever, but the older we get, the harder it is to keep our weight down. You have to decide what is worth it to you. I went from a size 12 to mostly 4's, (some pants bigger) and I can't believe it happened so fast. I have an attic full of them. I wish you well, and want for you every good thing. But what is that good thing? Obviously I am very vain: an old lady in jazzy size 4's. Many people would feel that is excess. What is right for you? What are you willing to give up? Many here on FS would "kill" to be 135, or 155, or even 175. You can weigh 175 and eat what you call clean foods. You can even do IF and gain weight. Some weigh 300 eating clean foods, I've seen it. It scares me. That's why it scared me so much when I binged a couple of days ago, because I think I am untrustworthy. I need to stay away from sweets entirely, and limit carbs. Do you want more info on Keto and IF?

You're close to your goal weight, it's going to be difficult for your body to let you get there. I'd eat more if your journal is all you're eating. Everytime alcohol hits your system, burning fat stops.. And burns the alcohol off. This can take hours, and it takes longer the more you drink. It sucks, because I love beer. There's more of a chance that what you eat is being stored as fat while your body processes that booze. Good luck! 🍻 🍷

I agree with em all. Don’t get discouraged. Make the adjustments keep going !! Don’t give up. If it was easy everyone would be doing it. You’re already started and doing good! I look at my wt loss and diet like a science project. All diff variables and diff combinations. But be patient with yourself and five yourself grace!
