"CICO, still skeptical? Come inside for a meticulous log that proves it.
I did it with perfect tracking of CICO for 10 months. Almost nothing but junk besides a daily apple or some other fruit. Here. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=141807961&p=822484731#post822484731

Before and afters are on this page http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=141807961&page=8 Scroll to post #239

I felt awesome the whole time. I got into the best shape I've been in was running 8 miles in 56 min and could bench press more than twice my bodyweight. My main source of protein was pizza...

Before I get accused of promoting bad nutrition, I simply did this as an extreme test because I didn't fully believe that you could eat anything and still lose fat. I tried most other fad diets and never wanted to get on board with counting calories. I did this to prove it could work to myself and for others to witness.

Also, in my profile pic I had lost another 4 lbs and got down to 178. 176 was my lowest before I quit logging.

Example day:
Breakfast
1 large apple
1 serving go lean chocolate malted crisp
1/2 serving Naturally Rising Pepperoni Pizza
1/2 serving Onion Rings
4 oz pork ribs
1 cup salad
1/2 serving strawberry marshmallows

Lunch
1 cup 1% milk
1 medium banana
1.1 servings BANANA BREAD
1 serving ben and jerry's cinnamon buns
1 serving fruit loops
1 serving kellogs frosted mini-wheats

Dinner
1 serving 2% Milk American Cheese Singles
1 serving freschetta pizza
2 servings great value white bread
1 serving oatmeal creme pie
2 servings smoked turkey slices
0.4 serving stax

Example of the accuracy of CICO:
As of Day 126
Total deficit 113033= 32.29
Deficit would put me at 183.71 lbs.
Todays morning weight 183 lbs."

My before image was at 216 pounds. After was 182. I actually ended at 175 or so but don't have any images from then. As I near the same weight now, I don't see much of a difference despite a lot more protein.

Message me your current stats, if u need some recommendations it’ll be easier

& generally, more can help, but you can have double or triple your protein intake & still maintainin/lose weight or build no muscle, the surplus of calories will be more of the determining factor relating to that

I’m not lifting now (still 😅) cause I’m moving and don’t want to waste money on a gym that might not be close to my new home. But when I start lifting I’ll message you 😉Thanks

I don't think anyone disagrees with that statement at all Deadpool, as I have stated countless times, it does not matter what diet people chose as long as it is one that will work for their needs and reduces their calorie intake to a level that promotes weight loss. Some people have triggers which if ignored will put them in a place that eating the trigger food will cause excessive hunger which in turn makes them ruin their diet. This is very real for many people, it is not just a lack of self control. If some have never had these horrible cravings, they don't seem to get it. The only self control is to not touch these foods. These foods tend to be the ones which are refined carbs. So while it is great to prove some people can eat refined carbs, restrict their calorie intake to match their calorie burn and have control to limit it, many people can not eat these trigger foods.

I can’t use the link as we are out of town but when I get home I plan to read it all! Just have to say that one of your meals is about a whole days worth of food for me lol. Hubby eats about like this though.

Isn't there a link between junk food and cancer?
08 Jul 18 by member: Steven Anthony
I mean, transfats are to be avoided, otherwise I am not sure where you're getting that.

@Diablo360x, I googled "link between junk food and cancer"
08 Jul 18 by member: Steven Anthony
You can probably Google all kinds of things, like sugar being as addictive as cocaine, lol. The fear mongering orthorexics will claim many things with no scientific proof. Nicotine? Yeah, Bread meat and cheese formed into a pizza, not so much.

Are claiming there are no scientific studies linking junk food and cancer?

Cancer is one of those diseases of civilization. When we were nomads, we weren't getting it. So, is it the foods that we are eating now or the processing we do on those foods? Or perhaps agriculture has a lot of us living pretty sedentary lives and it is the excess energy we take in? Or maybe we aren't in contact with as many microbes as we used to be and our immune systems are out of practice and messing things up? I wish we knew for sure.

to people that are sensitive to certain foods, it is just like that. it bothers me that you some of you that are successful with your diet plans don't seem to recognize that not everyone can be successfull on a carb loaded diet, you just seem to be discounting the struggles that other people can have when they have a sensitivity to refined carbs and it is harmful to their diets. I don't worry for myself, I have been skinny all my life until the change of life also changed me and for whatever reason became sensitive to a lot of foods. that change and my slow but sure reduction in my activity level lead to my big weight change over the years. I know I have to rebuild my muscle core and avoid those trigger foods that lead to over indulging. these foods tend to be refined carbs and they negatively effect my ability to stay within my calorie needs. So I stay my coarse. I just feel badly that you are not open minded enough to recognize that there are a lot of folks on this site that suffer the same. triggers may be different but most tend to be carb related. I am done posting on this thread, it is like slamming my head against a wall.

Officially39. The earlies evidence of cancer was found in bone that was about 1.5 million years old. The word cancer is from the Greek. We know from both written and pictorial depictions that the medical people of the times were trying to figure out what caused it, how to treat it and left us with records of what and how procedures were performed. That was 1600 BC. Cancer has been with us for a very long time..

What exactly does being sensitive to certain foods mean? If you mean, certain foods cause you to overcomsume them, avoid them. Not sure where I claimed you should force yourself to eat what you can't control.

Yeah, I'm sure people have been dying from cancer since first man. Just because there was no doctor or machines back then to diagnose it, doesn't mean it hasn't been a defect for a long time.

You lost 34 pounds in ten months, didn't start out obese by any stretch, just a little pudgy. Nice work. Would you do anything different, knowing now what you didn't know when you started?
