Crustless Pizza

Pizza with a low carb twist - no bread crust, same pizza flavor.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Brown ground beef in skillet. Drain grease.
  2. Mix ground beef in large bowl with 7 oz mozzarella cheese. This will act as the "crust". Mold ground beef mixture onto pizza pan or in bar pan.
  3. Add tomato sauce (or pizza sauce), the rest of the mozzarella cheese, and any additional toppings desired.
  4. Cook in oven at 425 °F (210 °C) for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  5. Let cool for a couple minutes, serve and enjoy!

I have had this before. It was in an atkins cookbook from one of my fathers diets. It was delicious.

Really tasty. If you love MEAT you are gonna LOVE this! My 'pizza' was pretty damn big, I'd venture to say you could get away with halving the recipe. Try to be picky when you are choosing your pizza sauce if you are watching carbs, since that's where they're all coming from. I will make this again, but probably make it smaller. Ate 1/4th of it (2 servings) last night, probably finish that half tonight. Definitely filled me up!
