24 years old.
Work full time and I'm a full time student.
I'm also planning a wedding that is only about 10 months away.

Everything keeps me busy and stressed so sometimes it's hard for me to stay on track with my weight loss. My stressed-to-the-max days make me more open to temptation to have a big bowl of noodles or a lot of bread or sweet treats. I'm trying harder now to keep my stress level under control and to take some time for myself, which my fiance always tells me I never do.

To help me de-stress I listen to calming/relaxing cd's at work, such as water, rain, piano's, wood flutes, anything you would probably hear while getting a massage at a salon. I also have a lavender air freshener by my heater, so I stay warm, and the floral scent helps to calm me down.

Motivation Tips
Another motivation I love is new clothes Smile
Every now and then, if I lose weight and it stays off for a good 2-3 weeks, I go shopping for that smaller size, then when I return from shopping, I grab all of my clothes that are now too big on me, and get rid of them! That way there is no clothes to fall back on if I start gaining again, my only option is to work on it and keep it off. I vow never to buy clothes in a larger size than what I currently am. The only exception for that will be when/if I get pregnant one day.

Motivation Tips
My motivation was lost after already losing 30 pounds, but I still wasn't to my goal weight.

My new motivation is my upcoming wedding. My want for that better body and healthier me.

My new motivation is my fiance, who loves to work out, and I would just watch him and think to myself how I wish I enjoyed it and that it didnt feel like a chore.

So my new Motivations is my health, the love of my life, and my future family, because when we do start a family, I want to be able to be healthy and keep up with my kids, I dont want to "let myself go" like so many tend to do. Many health risks run in my family... heart problems, diabetes, bad joints, parkinsins, high blood pressure, cancer... I want to do what I can to prevent myself from getting those things.

I dont have pictures to look back on to motivate me of what I used to be, as I am what I have weighed at my lowest point. But I do have the motivations of my health, my family, my future family, and my wedding Smile That should be all the motivation I need Smile

Motivation Tips
I know anyone can say that they're motivated, but then they still just sit and think about working out than actually doing it.
I think if we all post something that has helped our motivation, motivation that actually got us up and off the couch and away from the sugar, it'd be helpful for others.

So please post you're motivation moment that pushed you to be a better you Smile

Work Place Exercises
Anyone have any ideas on things you can do at your work desk? I have 5 lb dumbells with me that I use regularily at my desk, but I just use them for my arms. Anyone have any suggestions as to other things I could do?
