My name is Jean and I'm 39, I'm married to a great guy and we have 2 sons (18 & 19). I've been following a low carb eating plan since about January 2009 and so far I've lost 130 lbs with about 35 lbs more to go. In August 2009 I had a surgical procedure called a gastric sleeve which permanently reduces the stomach volume and virtually eliminates hunger. I've been very happy with my results but just because I've had surgery that doesn't mean that I don't work at making good food choices. I have recommited to low carbing and am currently following the Atkins way of eating, I have found that I really do feel best eating this way. I hope to reach my goal way before my 40th b-day next June :)

Greek Yogurt....
I LOVE Fage 2%, the 0% is OK too, and I only buy the plain because it's so easy to do your own add ins. For breakfast I put about 3/4 tsp instant coffee and some Splenda to sweeten - soooo good!!! Another way I'll make it is to slice strawberries, mix in the yogurt with a little Splenda and it's so fresh tasting, my kids love it too. Yet another way to fix it is to mix in some sugar free pudding (powder) to taste and it's almost like cheesecake.
