When I started, I was a 40 year old mother of one 9yr old daughter. I work with a public school in New Jersey in an autistic pre-school class. I have been at my heaviest 235. I am 5 8'. Lost weight on my own to become around 197, the weight I was in my ninth month of my pregnancy. Lost 30+ lbs on WW in 2003. Since then I have gained most of my weight back. Joined Atkins 11-21-07 at 191, and stopped at 178 & was feeling great! Now at 43, I am @ 189. Started WW in April and lost 12 lbs. Summer started and I gained it all back (I like my beer). Started Slim-Fast on Aug 31st and am now 189. Hope this time around I can change my eating style once and for good, that is what I need to do to maintain a healthy weight. For me it is a lifestyle change.

When do I weigh?
I would suggest not to weight yourself everyday, you should probably weight yourself once a week. The reason is that you may see water weight in between that may not give you a real weight. Plus we don't want you to get discouraged.
