Really excited about my results, another 2 lb loss this week. If I can get to the gym a little more, I should easily be able to hit my challenge of lossing 10 lbs. in March. This really makes me feel that my disipline is paying off and is really keeping me motivated to keep it up.

For the most part I did pretty good this weekend. My wife and I went out on Friday night sans children which was nice. We drank too much wine, however, I didn't feel as though I over ate which was good as we had sausage and pepper sandwiches with potatos in them. The were delicious, but I only had on roll. Saturday was a much better eating day. Since the children slept over the in-laws we went out to breakfast. I had and egg white omlette with turkety, spinach and tomato with a glass of skim milk. I was able to get to the gym for about 20 minutes of cardio. Sunday I was a little bad. Slice of pizza for lunch and angel food cake for dessert after dinner. It is for the most part pretty low in calories so I allowed myself to splurge on it. My "lose 10 lbs. in March" challenge starts tomorrow and my boxing class starts this Sunday. I'm going to commit to cardio focuse resistance training for this month to try to meet this challenge. Feeling confident about it.

Weighed in today and after a week of sticking to my eating it paid off! 2 lbs loss since last week and I'm really happy about it. Didn't quite get the gym as much as I would have liked too, but maybe it actually helped. I have signed up for the lose 10 lbs in March challenge. If I can achieve that goal I'll be well on my way to hitting my goal weight of 165.

I have been very disiplined on the eating front this week. Almost gave in to tempation last night. I was pretty hungry around 8pm, time for last meal of the day. I really felt like diving into a box of girl scout cookies. Instead, I stayed strong and had a string cheese and an apple.
I also signed up for a boxing class at the Y. Looking forward to it, I should get a nice cardio workout out of it.

Had a busy weekend filled with bad stuff. Chinese takeout on Saturday night. Tried to be good, just had chicken with broccoli. Sunday, went to a friend's house they made enchiladas, one of my many weaknesses, had two of those white rice and black beans. Really over did it. My wife found a cool recipe for brownies though. It might sound nasty but its actually quite tasty. Just get a boxed brownie mix and a can of black beans. That's right, black beans! Drain the bean and then add water to the can of bean til it just covers the beans. Put that into a blender and puree. Just add the puree to the brownie mix and bake. They taste great the only difference in the texture is a bit more chewy.
