Well, "official" weigh in tomorrow, and starting to wonder if I need to start to post daily - Saturday was 217, Sunday was 224, this morning was 220.. I for the life of me don't get it, but maybe it's the scale, who knows.. Clothes feel looser, skin is clearer, "indulgence" is my new code word for sporadic fits of rage...
Family came to visit Atlanta this week for spring break, so it's been a true test of what life will be like once the family is reunited and I am not flying solo here - eating out is actually getting easier, and outside of the beer/alcohol, it's seeming pretty easy to make healthy choices.. Still know mentally if I take in under 2k calories a day, I will lose weight, just a lot slower than I'd like.. I was doing real good with daily exercise until I re-agravated my neck, which put a damper on working out for a little while.
I've decided that when I hit 200, I'd really want to get back into running, and figure if I had a good motivation to do it (as well as less weight on the knees) maybe that would get me closer to my goal weight - just need to find a 5k race sometime in October/November time frame..

Well, after a reality lesson that this ISN'T easy, and a pep-talk/comment from a friend, I've got a renewed attitude.
The weekend was typical, running round chicken head cut off chasing kids sports kind of weekend, complete with a healthy dose of sitting on my ass, and a side of 10hrs of driving, but wouldn't trade it for the world..
Food wise was pretty tame, trying to build back up my intake to "kickstart" my fat burners, and in the meanwhile I might as well start exercising, since I've been talking about it for like 2 months!, ok, maybe 1, but seems like forever... So long, my metabolism has not come out to see it's shadow just yet..
Oh, and I need to take my picture with a 20lb bag of purina, need to capture the hallmark moment and say goodbye to the first 20....
38"'ers are still lose, not quite into the 36"ers but soon....

Well, I officially hate this dead zone... My own fault, the last 2 weeks have been tough to stick to the intake levels, probably time to shock my system..
Still seeing some progress, and still know I am not exercising, so I know there is room to improve..
Sort of proud of myself for being able to kick sweet tea and soda completely - thats a big win. Also being conscious of calories will help when I get to "maintenance" mode..
If I was to be a betting man, my guess is that the lower intake is probably the reason for the stall, but I am stubborn - logically, I can't justify raising my intake without increasing my activity, and so begins the dance -
