I'm 45, have 2 daughters aged 16 and 15
I live near london in a village
Until last year, I was a newsagent for many years, but had to close this down due to my health
I am currently in the process of returning to my part-time job
I have a connective tissue disorder- Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which affects my joints and my heart and type 2 diabetes
I am trying to follow the blood sugar diet, 8 weeks of low carb 800 kcal/day
I am currently waiting for spinal nerve ablation treatment, after 3 years of back problems, during which time i have put on nearly 3 stone
I am currently 13 stone and aim to be under 11 stone
When i am well enough, i enjoy family time, helping others, reading and cooking
my aim is to get healthy, more active and get out and about, after being virtually housebound for a year.

I am now back at work 4 days a week
aimed to get to 153.9lbs for my cousins wedding on 18/8/17 and nearly made it!
Still awaiting back surgery in the autumn.. have had some bad falls but going for physio and trying to stay mobile.
Now aiming for 150lbs by 4th nov, my birthday.. this will be a total loss of 50lbs, 25% body weight since i started my fs journey in 2014.I am also naiming for 25.5%body fat, half of the 51% fat that i was before!
Following lchf and IF has helped me to lose 17.5 inches off my waist since christmas, so i am definately a recovering carb addict
My progress would have been impossible without the support from my fs friends :)
