10 Things You Need to Know
@LisaOnline - thanks for bumping this. I hadn't seen it before and found it captivating.

I have to agree about the under-reporting thing. That's actually the main reason I hooked up with FS, but I learned from the video that I should be reporting those 3 cups of black coffee I drink each morning, and I haven't been!

Very scary - the visceral fat concept. I wish I could get my BF to sit still long enough to watch this. I can't seem to get him to give up fast food, even though he's on BP meds!

Shake that money maker!
If you are stuck behind a desk all day like I am, may I suggest that you play Pandora on your computer and make a Motown radio station (or feel free to play mine here). You cannot help but dance and wiggle all day long! Very Happy

The truth about cooking sprays?
Does anyone know what the real calories are in cooking sprays? I know there has to be an evil truth hiding behind the label, which says it's a completely innocent alternative to butter or oil, but only if you use a spray that lasts ONE THIRD OF A SECOND!

I don't think any of us use only a 1/3 second spray in the pan if we're preparing eggs or veggies or whatever. It's more like a couple of seconds, I'd guess.

Open For Debate
I don't know whether or not this is considered motivating, but I read this in a blog this morning and wondered what the rest of you think.

Is this callous? Or brutally honest?

Does this make you feel like if others can do it, you can do it too? Or does it turn you off to exercising and egg white omelets?

The floor is open.
