Hello there! My name is Jessie. I am 31 years old and live in Hudson, WI with my husband of 8 months, Austin, and our 12 year old Maine Coon, Apollo.
I have always battled with my weight in life. I have used food for a stress reliever, a friend, a companion. However, over the course of several recent years I have managed to widdle away 65 pounds through healthy eating and exercise. Since my wedding in September of 2009, I have made poor choices when it comes to eating and exercise (no other excuse for it) and have gained 10 pounds of my weight back, 5 of which I have lost now. I know that probably doesn't sound like a huge deal but what it comes down to for me is the lack of self control. When there is no control, I am a mess. When I take care of myself with love and respect (by eating well and taking care of my body), I feel better. Why is that so hard for me to grasp? I wish all of the other stuff was easy to get over...i.e. the emotional eating, mindless eating, laziness, boredom, blah blah blah.
Anyways, I am using this site for just that. I'm taking care of myself again. :)

Crazy Weight Fluctuations
I agree with the last person. Always weigh yourself at the same time, under the same conditions (for example, I weigh myself every morning with no clothes on, after I go to the bathroom). You'll find that it will be more consistent.
