FOR WOMEN ONLY! -->Brazilian Wax Advice
Just want to mention something that is critical that I haven't seen mentioned: the quality of wax. Make sure you call and ask what type of wax they use. The best wax is the one that does not require strips. Some places uses the wax that requires strips for the outer areas and uses the better wax for the more sensitive areas. I suggest going to a place that ONLY uses the better wax on ALL areas. I consider it to be less painful than using the wax that requires strips.

"Fake" oatmeal - more ills from Micky D's

Want convenience and oatmeal at the same time?

Last night I spent sixty seconds filling a miniature crock pot with steel cut oats and water. I turned it on and went to bed.

This morning I turned off the crock pot when I woke up, then went about my morning routine. After about 15 minutes, I scooped the oats out into a bowl and stirred in a bit of tart cherry preserves.

Voila! Oatmeal. In fact, it's steel cut oats so it's healthier than rolled. The fruit preserves are a fairly healthy version that's made with real fruit, rather than being sugar with some fruit added. My total effort was less than five minutes.

This is my daily breakfast. It's easy, tasty, and healthy. I keep different jars of preserves around so that I have a variety of flavors. (If you're looking at my diet calendar, they all go in as a teaspoon of sugar. It's close enough, and I'm lazy.)

Thanks for the tip! I need to get me a crock pot. I've been hearing too many great "walk away" recipes lately. Smile
