Hi All, I am glad to be apart of this sight. I never really had an issue with my weight till I turned 50. At 49 I had injured my knee at work, I was working at Wal Mart and it went away and then 6 months later I woke up with knee pain long story short the specialist said there is nothing they can do with it, it is arthritis. I therefore ended up coping out and being lazy and had my pity party, my drinking had became even a more problem. My highest weight was at 312 lbs. Then my husbands and my life started to turn around we started going to a local Christian church mean while we both were also still drinking. My husband is now almost a year and half sober and this month July 27th 2019 marks my one year anniversary of being sober. I had thought I was fixing healthy meals and on the some part I was. My portion sizes I know were way off and also the carbs. But I am so glad to share my journey to a new me with you all. Forever Faithful.
