Have you ever been shamed by someone half your age? Oh, the youngster is ALSO your employee?

Yeah, I got a call about 6PM central time, and my dude asked if I had done my work out. I let him know that I had some pain in my triceps and in my shoulders. He then asked me the following questions:

Does it hurt to go to the bathroom?
Does it hurt to drink water from a bottle?
Does it hurt to give someone a hug?

When I said no, he said he would call me back in an hour to make sure that my upper body workout was done.... Then he hung up....

Little prick, I hired him to work for me, NOT WORK me! Yeah, when I hired him to be my second, I knew he was a trainer, but I NEVER thought that he would take me on as a project.

In reality, I love the guy, he's keeping me on track regardless of what's going on!

We ALL need a mentor, we ALL need to find someone that will help to keep us accountable.

I just never dreamed that it would be a kid half my age doing it for me....

Damn I'm gonna hurt tomorrow, but I'm gonna love the results,

Not an unexpected gain with all of the wake and travel food I've eaten over the last week. However, when doing my measurements yesterday, I've gained girth in my forearms, upper arms, and almost 1/2" in my legs over the last month.

I've been hitting the weights HARD since that is a stress relief for me, and it's starting to show a bit.

I'm back in the saddle for my WOE, and HOPEFULLY everyone stays healthy and alive for a while so I can continue.

On a side note, I see a LOT of new folks coming in to the site. Lets all remember, we all have a different WOE, and we all have opinions, lets be welcoming, but not come across as judgmental.

Next goal for me is 250, 26.2# away as of this morning!!! That will mark 100# down for me! I want that mark by May 16th!

Working for the weekend! Let's rock it!

"What's your secret?" "C'mon, nobody loses weight like you have without pills or something". As I've said before, I get asked that a lot.

Here is my typical response to the inquisitive folks...

There is no secret. I'm following the Way Of Eating (WOE) that I found works best for me after quite a bit of research. I get in a little cardio 3 days a week (treadmill and pushups), and I lift some weights 3 days a week, and I still enjoy my whiskey.

No, I don't go hungry. No, I don't have "cravings". No, I don't always feel like cheating...

The picture below is what I have for lunch 4-5 days a week when I'm at work. I also have this same meal each Wednesday night. Looks darn good doesn't it?

At home, I eat a LOT, but it's the right stuff for my WOE, and I keep it within my "eating window" of 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. I'm always full when I push back from the table, I'm not hungry at odd hours, and I love the foods I get to eat.

I eat MEAT of ALL kinds, cheese, butter, smoked stuff, fish, and all kinds of other good foods as well. Yes, I have an occasional cookie, or have a dish of ice cream with my father, but I don't "miss" it.

Did I at first? Of course I did, but with all things, after a small amount of time, you get used to your "new" ways.

I didn't like exercising at first, but now I feel almost like I'm depriving myself if I miss a workout. I should also add that after a workout, I feel AMAZING!!!

I'll close with this; a LOT of my success has been due to some wonderful people here at FS! Virtual kicks in the pants, electronic scoldings, supportive chats, and a cheering section that one could only dream of having!

Like a friend on here stated recently to her body, "I'm sorry I abused you for so long, I'm glad to have you back". "This time, I'll do better for you"! (something like that)

Thanks all for the support and the education, and here's to the next 35 pounds!
