About me 60 year old male retired July end 2016 and quickly gained weight up to January 1st weighed 240 pounds my all time heaviest I'm 6 foot tall developed plantar fasciitis which caused severe foot pain so stopped walking and other exercise I have done too many things to list to get the foot pain under control but now is manageable and able to return to normal routine.

At 240 i honestly felt like the weight was killing me shortness of breath difficulty tying shoes etc. it was disgusting.

From January went on healthy low fat diet except for healthy fats Salmon etc. starting walking again currently 2 x per day with some weight training and push-ups waiting to loose some more weight then i will transition into more weight training with pull ups.

Currently at 224 feeling better but i am now just below my 2nd all time heaviest of 230 so i have a long way to go.

As far as diet it is going OK only weakness is Ritz crackers and peanut butter which my wife brought a huge box from Sams thinking about throwing them in the garbage It's been a long time ago but wrestled in school so am very used to diet and how to lose weight

Any way that's my story and by the way from Michigan and love to fish so can't weight for Spring to get back out there.
