So after scouring the bedroom with vacuum cleaner, new bed in bag and pets all flea treatmented up... I slept like a baby last night


I didnt get to gym after all last night, but I did go this morning. Got in an hour of cardio (I'm loving the arc trainer more and more!) And an hour of strength. My trainer showed me some gentle exercises to do for my calf... which is great :-)

Now my left achilles tendon is acting up. Ahh once the weight comes down I'll be less in pain.


Right now I'm waiting for boyfriend while he is getting his accupuncture for his Kyphosis (not kytosis lol. Kyphosis is a disorder where the spine has an outward curvature near the shoulders... think hunchback). So the accupunture helps relax the muscles around it relieving the pain (he has tried everything for pain relief and this works best).

After hes done were going to Star Trek. Let's see how long I can resist the popcorn. Thinking of sneaking in a subway sandwich and water and buying a small popcorn between us (will have to ask for a second bag to split it so he can put all the butter he wants on his).

Then its left over veggie stir fry tonight. Yum!!

Bites Bites!! Arrgh! I finally figured out what I'm being bitten by - my damn cat has fleas, and she has been sleeping on my bed during the day. The buggers like me better than the boyfriend apparently (hey, they go for the looks... well boyfriend's a cutie too but hey, what can I say?).

Now I'm all wigged out. Buying flea meds on the way home for the furball, and a whole new bed in a bag - cause just the ideas of sleeping with those nasty things again freak me out! I have enough of a bedmate to keep me company, at least HE doesn't make me itch (It doesn't help I'm allergic... to the fleas, not the boyfriend).

I have 6 bites down my leg, and a cluster of about 10 bites on my hip.

Kitty is an outdoor cat, and indoor during rainy weather (like these past few days).

Either way, yesterday was a bad day. Bad day at work, I come home and see my 2 year old destroyed my favorite video game (yea I'm a nerd), and it's just a few days before that bitch I call Aunt Flo comes to visit. So I pigged.

I made sure to horde down as many stir fried veggies (homemade) as I could first at least, then hit the chips n dip.

And you know? I'm not beating myself up over it... it happens. And even after entering what I ate - I still see that I was well within my calorie count :)

Still raining like crazy out, I'm itchy, My calf still kinda hurts, but the pain (not a BAD pain) wraps around to the front of my shin... but still going to go to gym. Will ask one of the trainers what she suggests I use for my cardio so I'm not putting so much weight and impact on my "injury".


On a GOOD note: I have noticed a few things.
1. I'm noticing that I'm not as "cushioned" at night laying in bed. I feel my muscles when I lay down (now need to get used to it, may have to add a mattrice pad)
2. My tushy is finally starting to fit into the bus seats (you know, they're SUPPOSEDLY designed to fit everyone's hiney ?? yea..no!)

Been having issues with my right calf recently. About two weeks ago during my first 3k walk I pulled it somehow. I was just walking and boom it hurt! It felt better the next day (just tender but could walk easily on it again). Then last week I was just walking from my office to a filing cabinet and again it went on me. Each time this happens I can feel like a pop! Again, agony but could still walk on it.

Again last night, I was at the gym on a stationary bike and yet again it went. WTH? Its not like I'm placing excess amounts of stress on it.

Again I can walk on it... but this morning its more tender than usual. I took an advil muscle and joint and rubbed some A535 on it to see if it helps. I'll go to doctor this weekend of I can get in.

Unfortunately work is short staffed today so im not able to do it today.

I take a multivitamin a day. 2,000 IU's of Vitamin D, currently 1,000mg of vitamin C as there is a lot of colds going around. Today I took a potassium (I have an issue with bananas unless theyre cooked).

Ended up with a late start this morning. Was planning on doing my 3K walk, but ended up leaving too late due to some moron stealing my driver's side mirror. Nice... have an idea who it is, but don't have proof. So making note. (My boyfriend was working with an asbestos abatement company that would cut corners. They ended up firing boyfriend and his cousin over something stupid (and illegal), but had tried to say they had quit - even AFTER they had issued them their records of employement saying they were fired (they tried to re-issue saying they quit... and that was flag number 1 for the government).

After 3 months of calling EI, Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety, he finally got his pay and vacation pay. They tried to force boyfriend and his cousin to give back their Asbestos Abatement licenses (hah ya right). Guess they buggered up a few more people, as the goverment is now sewing them for hundreds of thousands of dollars for fraud.)


Anywho... I walked my 1k through downtown instead, and ended up walking into work just as the heavens open up! Yikes. It's still pouring cats and dogs out there - I need a good umbrella. Unfortunately walking with an umbrella downtown Calgary is pretty much useless (vertical rain due to the wind channels between the skyscrapers). So I'm going to have to find some time to make a map of the +15's in calgary (15 KM of closed "bridges" that connect buildings together downtown), and figure out a good "walk" where I'm not being blocked by hundreds of people on their lunch break.

In the meantime, I'm kind of dreading my 7:00 - 7:30pm gym time (40 min cardio, 30 min strength), as I'll never sleep tonight. My friend originally planned on going there at 6, which I don't mind at all - 7 is kind of pushing it. I might go earlier and just meet her down there, cause I'm NOT putting off the gym again. That's what got me out of it in the first place, excuses...
