Another 2 pounds off. Trying not to be frustrated about things that are out of my control. Taking stock and looking at the positives.

Smashed through the 17 stone barrier for the first time since I was a teenager! Had to buy some new clothes as my old ones are hanging on me. Waist is now 10 inches down. Sticking to 1500 calories a day and feeling really good.

Living low GI, weened off the protein shakes completely, and relieved to still be losing. Tough week on the road, but porridge for breakfast, light lunch and good meal in the evening is a routine I can easily follow. Tracking my calories and it's surprisingly tough to make it to 1500 cal per day. Nice problems to have. Long may it continue...

Been eating more this week, adding more foods back to my diet. Even ate at a restaurant for my son's birthday (had grilled chicken, grilled peppers and salad) but still lost another few pounds. Pretty pleased with that.

8 stones down this year! Another great loss this week which I am delighted with because I've been introducing foods back into my diet. Chicken and Pork have never tasted so good. Weather has turned really cold though and with that I've been full of cold. At least I'm getting plenty of vitamins with all of the lovely healthy veg.
