Another pound off. Thought it would be more, but had a chicken kebab take out on Saturday night and have been playing catch up since. Amazing how the body reacts to one day of indulgence. No doubt that extra few pounds is water weight, but that still doesn't make it any more fun watching the scales for the few days after!

Feel like I'm getting there. Have really had to keep my appetite in check this week. Distracted myself with exercise, or added the occasional protein hit to fight the cravings.

Tough start to the week. Wanted to eat everything! Decided to cut down on sugar again. Counting calories works fine, but the sugar definitely increased my cravings to eat more. So no chocolate or mince pies the last few days and feel much better for it. Running has left me aching, but going to stick to it. Another month and I might just be one of "those" people that I used to envy/ loath in equal measure!

Gained 4 pounds between Christmas and new year, but got back on track the last few days. Few litres of water and watched the calorie intake each day and it's flushed out the festive indulgences! So, 2017 we'll have to see what we can do about shifting the final stone... Seeing family was mixed. "You look like your old self", "nice to finally have you back". Not sure who they think I've been for the last decade, but I'm trying to focus on the positive and not the negative.

My last weigh in of 2016, and the lightest I've been since I was a teenager. Probably my best gift today. Wherever you are I hope you have a lovely Christmas and wish you all the very best for 2017. Now to get stuck into some booze and turkey!
