yes planning does help. make a menu of what you want to eat for the week and post it on the fridge. I also post the recipie for the day. There is lots of recipies on this site print and post on your fridge. It has helped me. Good Luck...

Messed up
I messed up gone off my diet. With school starting lots of trips to the stores I havent been able to eat as well as I have wanted to. We live an hour away from any big city. ,which makes it hard you are hungry you kids are hungry so we stop and eat lots of unhealthy stuff. That has been my last 3 weeks I feel bloated and tired all the time. Just need to get back on this again. I havent weighed myself. some of my pants feel tight so I know I have gained some. I am just so upset with myself. Sad Sad

healthiest black bean source?
I like ranch style black beans I just rinsed them then add them to my egg omelet. added fresh tomatoes and chopped cilantro. sprinkled with reduced fat mex. shreaded cheese. even my 14 who does not like beans ask when I am going to make this again.

Getting started...HELP
Just stared here last week Yes its hard I haven't weight myself cause I'm scared. but you can do it. This site has so many good looking recipies. I told my family that we are all eating healthier. for dinner I make something from this site there are lots of stuff in the low calories. that is a start. eat breakfast. it helps me.
