What a whirlwind month! My husband and I co produced a play for our local community players. Too many FARPs (Friday After Rehearsal Parties), and too much tension! Ate more than usual during this eventful time.
My focus is on exercise rather than weight loss, although I still maintain that eating properly is the key to success. My "prevention diet" is excellent, well founded and very doable, so now it is time to closely follow it for better results.

Once a week weigh ins - starting today, Oct 31. Wednesdays are the day for me!
Started a new drug today called Actonel which I will take once a week on Wednesdays, so I might as well weigh in that day too.

Going STRONG - Finally recovered from the long walk and am back to my Dr. Morris' diet plan and fitness with Excel.
Weight loss is not the top priority, but will happen with time!

RECOVERY TAKES TIME!
Wonderful that I am strong enough to garden (my right side rib problem, gall bladder removal and breast cancer lumpectomy). My weight seems to be taking a 'back burner' position now - just joyful that I have my health back.
This is an amazing diet though. Maybe more like a nutritional plan because I am using a definite healthy approach to my choices and including more fibre, less meat, less fat, more protein, and of course lotsa fruits, veggies, and water.
So, I haven't been able to get down in the 120's, but that's OK.

WE DID IT
My sister and I walked the full route of 60 km over a 2 day period for the "Weekend to End Breast Cancer"!!!!!!!!!!! Wonderful experience being with 5,521 participants who raised 17.3 million for breast cancer research for the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. WOW.
Don't care too much right now about weight. I know that I am heavier than when I first started to post, but I have had a very difficult year, so I'm just happy to be ALIVE.
