The new food pie chart is out (USA) and NPR covered some of the items mentioned in other countries' food pyramids. The Swiss, water is number one. Gotta love that one. And then there is Italy. Yes, olive oil is considered important. The French? Two glasses of wine for the ladies, three for the men. Sounds good to me. My point is so much of this is cultural. Me? I have found I am being very successful by not totally eliminating my cheeseburger but instead just eating half. I have not 'gone off my diet' yet.

I thought the 187 on the scale yesterday was a fluke. But this morning my scale said 187.0 again. It must be true. So my second min-goal has been reached. First to get below 200. Second to lose the first twenty pounds. I did it in fifty days. Did you know that the phrase 'twenty pound weight loss' in French translates to "Yehaw!"
