Well yesterday was a bad day for me. I ate all the wrong stuff and then I weighed myself this morning and I totally regret all those bad choices. Oh well, today is a new day!

So, yesterday my neighbor and I were going to start walking but with the weather no one was doing anything outside last night. Tonight my hubby has to work so I don't know what time I will be getting home but hopefully we can still go walking. I have been looking for some one to walk with for years. My husband is just not the walking type and I tend to cut my walks short if it is just me. So my plan for tonight is to take my daughter with when we go walking. I usually take my dog but since she is in heat and we have a lot of other dogs in the neighborhood I'm kind of leary about taking her along. I am so excited about finally having a friend that will help keep me on the program!

Ok, so it is day 2 of trying again. I stepped on the scale again for the first time since Christmas. Although I didn't make my goal of staying within 5 lbs of where I was before the holidays, I didn't do too bad. I only gained 6 lbs. I was only 1 lb over what I wanted to be but those should be easy to shed now that I'm focused again and ready to move forward. I have kind of let my dieting go and splurged a little more than I should have but I am ready to get back on track. Lucky for me I get a lot of support from my husband and when I'm getting ready to eat something I shouldn't and he's around he just gives me a look and I know that I'm only cheating myself if I eat it. It's great having a good support system and even better when you can finally get back into those clothes that haven't fit for years.

So, today I joined 3 different challenges. I joined this one so I can get more comfortable writing in my journal, I joined the 200 sit ups challenge so I could work on my core, and 100 ABs every day till Valentines day. I'm excited. i have been working on my weight for a long time and I am ready to really kick it up and work on it more.
