Ok, so it is day 2 of trying again. I stepped on the scale again for the first time since Christmas. Although I didn't make my goal of staying within 5 lbs of where I was before the holidays, I didn't do too bad. I only gained 6 lbs. I was only 1 lb over what I wanted to be but those should be easy to shed now that I'm focused again and ready to move forward. I have kind of let my dieting go and splurged a little more than I should have but I am ready to get back on track. Lucky for me I get a lot of support from my husband and when I'm getting ready to eat something I shouldn't and he's around he just gives me a look and I know that I'm only cheating myself if I eat it. It's great having a good support system and even better when you can finally get back into those clothes that haven't fit for years.
