Hello- I just love my family, my job, my new puppy, and my life, yet I miss being thinner and in-shape. I am not very good about being motivated and when I do get motivated I seem to do a good job of getting derailed. Hoping to make some minor changes with this site and maybe make a few friends too. I guess after 15 minutes of looking around this site I'd better add a few more points about myself. I am 49 yrs old, live in northern CA. I currently weight 172.5lbs. I come from a ranching back ground (where I was quit motivated)since leaving that life style I am not nearly as busy and in shape as I used to be. Now, all I do is work in an office setting for the most part. I need this accountability like so many others.

I do enjoy walking and riding my bike. I own a tread mill, the total gym, and a home gym by Para Body, but, do you think I use them? Not really.
I'm going to set goals, try and exercise more and post my journey here.
