I'm a thirty-nine year old mother of two (ages 9 and 7), working full-time as an attorney. Between my commitments and theirs, it's hard to figure out when to fit in some exercise (to say nothing of taking the time to prepare healthy meals). I'm working on it, though.
My weight has been up and down over the course of my life. Other than when I was pregnant, my highest has been 156 lbs (I'm 5'6"), and my lowest was around 125. Mostly, though, I've hovered around 140 until recently. It seems that approaching the age of 40 has slowed my metabolism somewhat -- to say nothing of the increasing challenge of taking care of my body as my life gets more and more busy.
