No matter the role I play in life, a theme that seems to permeate my existence is a relentless pursuit towards excellence, optimum being, and enlightened living. I have recommitted myself to my wellness goals, which include: healing my metabolism, incorporating regular exercise, optimizing my serotonin levels, and striking a work-life balance. How to Upload Images to Fatsecret by Kingkeld
Hi all!
I made an inquiry to the Fatsecret team requesting information on how to upload images. They responded with a link to a post made by Kingkeld sometime ago. I thought I'd share for anyone who might want to know the procedures.

New(ish) to Fatsecret
Hi Kagray5! Welcome to FatSecret! I've tried a few fitness tracking sites, and Fatsecret is my favorite, so you have chosen well Smile

To get you set up right, I have a suggestion. You can take it, modify it, or scrap it - no harm done!

You are on the right track in determining your caloric intake. Here are the 3 steps:

Step 1: Your current weight in pounds X 11 = Your Caloric Baseline.

Step 2: Your caloric baseline + 400 (Calorie Burn) = Your Caloric Needs.

Step 3: Your caloric needs - 750 (Caloric Deficit) = Your Calorie Target.

Next, update that calorie target in Fat Secret in the RDI setting. (The default is 2000.) To do that execute the following:

1. Go your MyFatsecret main page (you will see the recent activity of other members on this page).

2. Go to "My Toolbox" (mid right side of page), and select "My Diet".

3. You will see "Edit Weight Details". Go to step "e: setup/change your Recommended Daily Intake (RDI)", and CLICK the link that says "Edit Your RDI".

4. The next window that pops up, is auto-populated with data you previously entered. Ignore it, then hit "Calculate My RDI".

5. A recommended RDI will again auto-populate. CHANGE it to the amount you found in Step 3 at the beginning of this post (your Caloric Target) and click "save".

One more tip, since I'm on a role. You can choose what data fields you are interested in monitoring. For example I monitor RDI%, fat, carbs, fiber, protein, and calories.

To do this execute the following:

1: Go to MyFatsecret page, and then navigate to the right to "My Toolbox", and click "My settings".

2: Scroll to the bottom of the new page, and you will see "Food Diary Nutrition Facts". Select the categories you want to monitor Smile

If you need anymore help just let me know!

What's your favorite Greek Yogurt?
I love the nonfat Fage. Kefir is good to go too.
