I decided to bulk up the Bio area. :)

First off, I'm sick of feeling like being the fat girl makes me flirtless, unhappy & boring. I just feel like I'm not allowed to be human because I'm carrying the weight of an extra one on me. I grew up in a town where fat people tended to be trashy, unclean, & loud. I'm none of those things. (Okay, I can get a little loud when singing in my car) I'm creative, flirty & content with life. My goal isn't to "be skinny, therefor normal" It's to get healthy and feel better about myself. It's also because I want to feel more attractive.

I've learned so much about loosing weight on here. I've learned about what every little thing does to your diet. I love that I can get on here and feel less like a gigantic ugly art sculpture in the middle of the room. This place has totally became my new facebook. (Or as my husband calls it, my fatbook.)

Speaking of husbands, I'm a newly wed. He's the whole reason I have the motivation to do this. He's going to be spending until December exercising with me, so that he can get ready for basic training. He's going to be a MP in the Air Force.

Anyways, I'mma chatter. So feel free to add me, but warning, I comment obsessively.

What am I doing wrong?
Watch salt & sugar. They tend to do that. & are you doing cardio exercises? There best to knock of pounds! If your doing something that could build muscle, try measuring yourself instead of weighing. Muscle weighs more than fat!

Microwave Vs. Oven
So my husband made a good point the other day when I was talking about ways to loose weight. He said, since a majority of the food we buy is pre-cooked microwavable, that maybe it would help if I used the oven instead. My lunch break is an hour, so it wouldn't hurt me on time. I've been doing it for about a week now. (I just signed up for fatsecrets.com, but I started my diet a week ago) It gives me a great since of the fact that what I'm eating isn't some useless garabage to throw into my mouth. It really helps! I tend to eat slower because the food tastes better, plus it takes more energy to use the stove because I usually stand around/ clean while I'm waiting...burning more calories! I was just thinking I should share that little tid-bit with ya'll. Smile
