Fighting cancer and need to gain weight. Plus eleven lbs. since last weigh in. Now 171lbs. Sorry to contradict all others on this platform trying to loose weight. Good luck to you all.

Weight loss due to extensive surgery for oesophagus cancer. I now have to eat little and often. The odd thing is I am now eating food I would normally shun to stop weight loss. Onwards and upwards.

I had my second Chemotherapy today and feeling rough with a bit of a headache. Sat at home with bottle attached to a belt on my waste delivering chemo via i.v. line. Hoping I don’t have to visit A and E for emergency treatment.

I don’t quite know how to tell my contacts with the news I have been given by my GP and Cosultant. So I’m coming straight out with it.
I was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus on the 29th August and have just commenced Chemotherapy in readiness for surgery. This has brought about an unplanned weight loss now at 172 lb.
I will be fighting this as best I can and would welcome any comments from all you good people on FatSecret. I will keep you posted on my progress.
My very best wishes to all on their Weight and fitness regime.
