Hello all
Hi Big Change, I found a great was to perform low impact water exercises without an instructor during the summer last year! I found the following website to order a float belt and instructions for water exercises. I wear the water belt to keep me afloat and use bluetooth earbuds to listen to the self guided routine while I'm in the water. It takes about 45 min and is a good workout. I was able to lose 15 pounds and plan to start again to stay firm. https://watergym.com/free-water-aerobics-exercises-charts/

Totally understand your dilemma kmherald. I had to stop walking on the treadmill a few weeks ago because I did something to the tendons on the top of my foot. I'm trying harder to watch my calories while taking a break! I found out my exercise routine was too aggressive since I went from none to 240 mins a week at a speed that was too fast. I slowing down going forward to prevent injuries (I'm 60).

Super bowl ideas
I have found some satisfying drinks and foods during football season. Wyler's Light pink lemonade with vodka (makes a great cocktail). Shrimp cocktail, jalapeno poppers, carrots and celery with blue cheese dressing, sun chips and fresh salsa, boneless/skinless chicken nuggets with Buffalo sauce, cauliflower crust pizza.

I struggle with the scale
I have kept a hanging calendar and pen in my master bathroom for many years. My husband and I weigh ourselves individually after we wake up every Friday morning. We record the weight on the calendar to track ourselves and keep each other honest. We have gained and lost over time but I trust the results more because they are recorded consistently according go our weekly schedule and you can see and learn by trends over weeks/months of time to make changes if needed.
