I'm a 33 yr old mom of two, trying to get back down to my Pre-babies weight. Even if I can't get there, I at least need to lose a good 30 pounds to be at a healthy weight for my height and age. Looking for support here. Most of my friends are thin and doesn't have to worry about calorie intake, exercise etc. So I need buddies that understand ;)

Best Foods to Eat Before Working Out
I agree about the carbohydrates. When I was in cross-country track, my coach told me to eat a baked potato an hour or so before running. It gives you long lasting energy, unlike a candy bar or something very sugary which will give you a short temporary burst of energy. I love potatoes so that worked for me! (many years ago...now I gotta practice what I preach and get back on the ball)
