The weather was so beautiful this past weekend. We were invited to a few cookouts and yes I did eat too much. Now I have to focus on eating well this week and getting exercise in. My hubby and I checked our weight to see who is winning the challenge so far and he is down 4 lbs and I am down 2. Bummer, he is winning. But down 2 pounds from last week! I like that! Have a good day all ;-)

Been doing good this week. Last night my husband and I did go out to dinner at Red Robins. I love their hamburgers but I opted for a grilled chicken California sandwich with no bacon. And I had a side salad instead of fries. I was surprised to see how many calories and grams of fat was in their grilled chicken sandwich, considering grilled chicken is supposed to be pretty lean. So I got on their website and calculated. The sandwich with everything it comes with is a whopping 824 calories and 43g of fat! But if you hold the bacon, mayo, and cheese it's only 440 cals and 10g of fat. So next time, no cheese or mayo for me either.

So my hubby and I are doing a weight lose challenge. I definitely think I am going to win, because yesterday I seen him sneaking outside and eating cookies and milk! While I ate a banana for a snack. Although I do know his metabolism is much higher than mine, so he can eat a few cookies and not gain weight. I on the other hand will. Even though we are saying that we are competiting against each other, we really are motivating each other. I am making healthy meals for both of us. And in the end, if we both lose weight, it's a win-win!

Haven't been on for a few days. Ate way too many girl scout cookies over the weekend! Kinda defeats the purpose of jumping on the treadmill for an hour each day! I am my own worse enemy. Well today I've only snacked on some light popcorn, so that's much better than the cookies. Tonight I'm jumping on the treadmill again. I've decided to make it my best friend for a while. An hour a day every day if possible..but at least 5 days a week for sure! I actually enjoy that hour to myself. When you have a 3 month old, an hour by yourself listening to music and working out the stress of the day is something you look forward to! At least I do.

I totally skipped breakfast this morning and just now eating lunch. I'm not even hungry.. too busy and stressed from work. But I guess I should eat something, so a lean pocket it is!
