Ideas for Work Lunch
You can make some really healthy, great tasting sandwiches and have one with a side of fruit. Light whole wheat bread with one tablespoon of almond butter and some all fruit spread with a banana on the side if one of my faves. Smile

Idiot checkout people
I work in the grocery industry and one thing we are encouraged to do is engage in conversation during check out. The checkers and baggers are suggested to comment on what you saying, "That looks good, what are you making?" or "Those shrimp are a great buy today." It can get tiring coming up with things to comment on.

I agree it sounds like a clumsy compliment. It also sounds like it came from the mouth of someone who doesn't know the antioxidant benefits of dark chocolate! Don't sweat the small stuff and enjoy every bite. Smile

I suggest just making one small change to start. If you drink soda, switch to water or no cal flavored waters, if you eat late at night set a cut off time for snacking. I also agree with gnat824, record everything you put in your mouth and you will get a very good idea within a week or so what changes to make first. Best of luck to you. Smile

my weakness.
You are way better off making your own trail mix and portioning it out in snack bags. At least this way you are in control of what goes into it. Smile
