I want to thank everyone for their kind comments on my last journal...you made my heart glow!
The swelling in my legs was pretty much gone by yesterday, as was the bloat. Pretty fast, in comparison to when I eat full wheat products. I will probably use the tempura product again, but rarely and sparingly. The side effects are worth an occasional indulgence. ;)
As of yesterday afternoon, it looked like I was going to have a 5 day weekend. But, when I checked my schedule this morning, I had one client for this afternoon. Just a shampoo, cut, and style. I use an online booking service, and clients can make appointments for themselves. Since I tend to be a bit of a slug when I know I have so much time off, I didn't try to shift her to next week, and got showered and dressed, and went to work. A total of and hour and 15 minutes driving, half hour getting ready, for a 40 minute service and a net income (after booth rent and card processing fees) of about $39. *sigh* Almost a complete waste of makeup. :P
BUT! It turns out the the client in question has a big night out tonight, and she left feeling like a million bucks...and that's why I do what I do.
So...I have a general question for the really intelligent folks here...definitely off topic!
I have an LG French door fridge with a drawer freezer at the bottom. Over the course of a month, hard ice accumulates under the drawer of the freezer, to the point that it obstructs the movement of said drawer. I have to get down on my knees and break up and remove the ice in a process I call, "deglaciating". Any idea as to why this happens? It's supposed to be a 'frost-free' freezer. I thought it might be that the ice-maker was leaking/spewing, but that's not it. There are runnels of ice on the back of the compartment, but no obvious source of origin.
Any ideas?

Hubby says it may be condensation, make sure the drawer is sealing properly and there is nothing obstructing it.
