Please explain this small weight gain. Because I am at a loss....I am active all day, stuck carefully to my calories, drink 3 liters of water a day and worked out or took long walks everyday. So.....why does my body do this. EVERYTIME. I stall. Usually this is where I say "forget it I'm gonna stop caring because obviously what I do doesn't matter!" But not this time. At least I'm not rapidly gaining. Right? And I feel good. FOCUS. Ok....I will carry on and see what happens next week.

You have very little to lose, so it can take longer and be harder to get off. Think about it. A person with a lot of weight to lose has a lot more fat on their body. A person with little to lose doesn't so it's harder to get the fat off. This means that you have to be stricter with your diet and food choices and workout harder. Now your body is also made up of 60% water, which means the scale can fluctuate hourly. Many things effect the water weight in our bodies including: too much sodium, sore muscles from exercise, hormones, medicine, being sick, stress, etc. So if you ate Chinese food yesterday and were still within your caloric intake, you could see a gain on the scale because of your body retaining water. Google "why the scale lies". It's really eye opening. It explains many reasons for seeing a gain when you do everything right. Stick with it no matter what. Persistence and patience will get you to goal.

Thank you so much. This is exactly the type of thought I need to have right now. :)
