I am down! Well, I was this morning anyway!
We went to my in-laws today to celebrate Easter. Lots of food. But I chose the roasted vegetables (carrots, parsnips, squash), ham and crustless quiche with veggies. I did have a small piece of chocolate cake as we were also celebrating my birthday as well. No wine or anything of that nature, just water. I think it was successful eating.
I also was suppose to do a 9 - 10 k run today in prep for the race next weekend. However that didn't happen as the winds were too strong. Hopefully tomorrow I will try.
Have a Happy Easter buddies!

I was trying to come up with a clever way to combine birthday and Easter -- all I could come up with was Happy Beastday!! :D (which, I think you probably are a 'beast' -- the best possible sense -- when it comes to running!) Regardless -- enjoy and cheers to another trip around the sun!

Thank you for your post. I hadn't figured out how to opt out of the fatty dinner since I am the cook and the family wants homemade mac and cheese, ham and all the goodies. Roasted veges on the menu will help alot.

Sounds like you made good choices. Way to go! I envy you being able to run so far. I can walk all day, but don't last very long if I try to run!
