Happy with how I’m stabilizing above my goal. Sometimes you have a goal that’s out of reach and you have to not ruin your body or metabolism trying to get there. I’m thinking this may be it for me gang. I’m healthy and look good in the mirror so that feels like a win win.

Yes! jenJabba. I just took out 2 quarts of bone broth from the freezer so I’ll be going for another week on that round! I still have one bag of bones left so I can make another gallon or maybe 2. 🍲😋

I looked at the price of whole chickens and was very shocked. Geez. So, here's my tip, .. get ready for the discount turkeys to come in a few months and stock up . I will be preparing to can i think!

I advise anyone who reaches their maintenance goal to adjust their FS weight goal. Congratulations!!!

Thanks John. I did that today. We’ll see how that goes. I think maintaining a weight is really where things can get slippery. Bottom line. I feel good

jenjabba. If you have some friends that eat chicken have them save the bones and tell them you will give them some of the broth when it’s through as payment! That’s how I do it.

Dr. Yoni Freedoff talks about a "happy weight" -- the lowest weight you can maintain while still enjoying life. When I stalled 2 pounds above goal, I thought that might have been mine, and I wasn't too worried about it. Focusing on long-term health and long-term sustainability is key. I'm firmly of the opinion that the weight you KEEP off is even more important than the weight you lose 👍
