Scaryizme's Journal, 09 April 2022

Ok Weezay and Crystal. I started an exercise regimen today. I did all the exercises Crystal posted plus a few more. I started with 10lb dumbbell’s for arm exercises and did each exercise 2 x 10 reps to start. I happen to be ex USAF, retired Corrections Officer and played fast pitch softball until I was 40 so I have a decent understanding of the benefits and proper postures for many weight training exercises. However, it has been a long, long time since I have indulged so I will start this process as though I have never lifted a weight in my life or done any exercising. Posture is so important and I don’t want to cheat on MYSELF. Thank you both for the inspiration to get off my booty and work this body into a new me!!!
235.0 lb Lost so far: 25.0 lb.    Still to go: 95.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It is such a high to start a new regimen, whether exercise or diet. I love the preparation, the shopping, even getting dressed for it all. Love your enthusiasm, and your note about not cheating on yourself. That resonated with me.

I did a couple of the exercises in the chart as well plus it reminded me to do the ones my physical therapist told me to keep on doing. It was a good reminder. Good luck to you!

Erq….I am counting on it. Just had an echo last week and my nurse says u sure r a tough one 😂 Even beaten down as I am currently I am still pretty strong due to lifting and sports. It sure has helped me the past 2 yrs to heal from Covid.

Good for you. I am lazy and have been taking it easier, than the exercise you are accomplishing.
