Thank you very much! Having a difficult time believing it, but TWO scales documented it, lol. Two things I changed: 1) I added exercise, 1/2 mile of moderately paced walking on my treadmill while I watched a DVD and then a little weightlifting 2) Hubby and I split the last ATKINS bar a couple days ago and I am not buying anymore. I really think all that JUNK in the bars hung me up. And I am not craving candy bars anymore; craving avocados, lol!!!

Yeay on the loss, and good for you giving up the bars!! I love avocado, added it to my taco salad yesterday and today!! Luckily I have 3 trees, so as long as the wind doesnt blow off all the flowers, we usually have quite a bit. Of course, there is always a wind storm when tree is blooming, but the strong survive :)

Congrats to you!!!! It is sometimes hard to believe. I saw people this weekend that noticed my weight loss and I was in disbelief, couldn't believe they could see a difference! Feels Wonderful! Makes it really easy to continue on! So much closer to your goal.

Hey Robin, I have a good idea for you. I saw this tip posted way back on here from someone. It really is a grand idea. If you are like me and you are sensitive to the sugar alcohols in the A bars, you can cut one bar up into 8 pieces and store the pieces in a ziploc bag in the fridge, only eating one piece at a time (daily), as opposed to woofing down a whole bar. You get a satisfying bite w/o all the risks of getting too many grams of sug alcohols in your system.

Evie, that is a good idea...really. But this is how it worked for me...I think..hmmm...chocolate, get a bar, will only eat two today...Then, I WOOF it down...darn, I will go ahead and eat the other bar and get it over with...then I dont have to think about it tempting me...and I get my two bars down....WOOF down bar #2. THEN brain jumps in and says...HEY!!! ya shoulda tried the caramel.....Hmmmm...OK..just ONE more!!! WOOF down bar #3 good stuff! caramel, chocolate peanut butter. but FAIL! So then brain come is and says: FAIL! YOU screwed up today, might as well eat the rest of the bars you have hidden in your desk drawer...OK!!! good idea! WOOF down bars #4 AND 5! Thats how I do rations...not so much, lol. My best way actually is to have NO BARS! I tried to ration my ice cream before I went on this Atkins thing, but then there was always the occasion to splurge! OH! ITs Friday, lets have ice cream! OH! My dad called...ICE CREAM time! Wow, the clock is working...PARTY TIME...get the ice cream, lol. Yeah, not so good on rationing, lol.
