Giving up coffee, I can’t drink it without cream & SUGAR! 😢

Thinking about getting back on the treadmill. It’s been too hot 🥵, but this week the temperature is expected to be reasonable. Getting back on the treadmill means getting up earlier, I’m not looking forward to that 🙄

I recently had to give up coffee too. I can't have the sugar and I don't like most sugar substitutes. Try the MiO energy water flavors. They have caffeine in them. It's working for me and now I start every day with 8 oz of water.

👋🏽Lambie, CONGRATS on your drop! My coffee has to have cream and sugar as well...and I refuse to sacrifice it! I do have a go-to that I brew, BUT I've discovered McD Iced Coffee with sugar-free vanilla and light ice (99 cents for a large with the mobile app deal) AND I have 1/2 every day with no negative impact as long as I follow CICO🤙🏼

Thanks for the comments :) I don’t do artificial sweeteners, so it’s natural sweeteners or nothing :(

I sympathize with you. I can’t stand coffee without cream and sugar, and I refuse to give up coffee. As a result, I’ve had to adapt the rest of my diet to make room for the daily cup. I’m focused on low carb, so it’s doable. In the past I’d drink several cups a day. Now I just have one in the morning. It suffices but I simply don’t think I could give it up altogether. Best of luck to you.

I love coffee too and after I cut out dairy 18 months ago I mainly use almond milk or other non dairy creamers. There are options that are naturally sweetened too.

I switched to stevia and foamed milk. took awhile, but you get used to it. I also add a little vanilla extract if I want something sweet. seems to amp it up. you'll get through it.

Could you wean yourself off the cream and sugar, adding less and less each time? I did that and drink it black now.

I'm the same, can't drink it black. I started mixing vanilla protein powder with almond milk and using that as my creamer. It's great in hot coffee, but I'm really liking it iced. Try it!

I've also seen people using premade protein shakes as liquid creamer.

I've mostly given up coffee due to stomach issues. But before that I used liquid stevia (a plant based sugar substitute.) If you're looking for that full fat flavor, some add coconut oil. It's filling, satisfying, and plant based.
