Hello, I am a 47 year old mother of two teens. Been married for almost 27 years. I've done variations of Keto in the past to great success (31# in 30 days, etc) but always gain it back and then some, as I live in a carb heavy household. I'm doing CI/CO low cal method this time so I can have a bit of bread stick or mashed potato here and there. However, after so many years thinking Keto-I'm finding it hard to switch my thinking. Ultimate goal is 150# (which my Dr. says is unreasonable but BMI calculator says that's on the high side- I'm 5'6") I was 135# at my wedding (age 20, size 9) so I don't think 150 should be too low for me in my late 40's. My heaviest is 298 but I've maintained a 20# loss since September. Now for more!

Forcing Synchronisation with Fitbit
I have to have my phone (Android) Bluetooth on. my phone will sometimes turn off the Bluetooth link if I'm in battery saver mode and I have to turn ti back on. Does this help? You can sync to your phone, not your desk top or laptop.

Fighting a Losing Battle
As long as you're not doing Keto, just put 8 chips in a nice bowl and take it to your seat. My butt is too lazy to get back up and get more. But if it's sitting right next to me-I'm toast! I'm a mindless muncher. Same with cake. a small 3" x 3" cake slice/cube can satisfy without eating half the cake. Eat them slowly and enjoy. Then go for a walk to get them off your mind.
