Wow slow but sure this is happening! 4lbs from goal! Wifey says I’m looking pretty lean but I actually won’t hit my normal BMI unless I go down to 175. Haven’t been there since high school. Opinions on the importance of dropping to that number?
189.0 lb Lost so far: 21.0 lb.    Still to go: 14.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

If BMI is low you dont’t trip the alarms at doctor’s office. But I’ve been a good BMI and have sacrificed muscle mass to get there because i’m a commited yoga practitioner. My doctor can’t believe i weigh so much. She says, “where do you keep it.” You decide

Thanks for the info! Yes I don’t want to sacrifice mass to get there. Wonder what body builders think about a BMI rating? It’s a 25# King salmon caught off the pacific shore of British Columbia CA. He was tasty!

IMO, if you're happy where you are (barring any medical reasons), then you're good.

BMI does not tell you what a person looks like

When you have lost of heavy muscle (diablo) you weigh more and BMI can tell him for example he’s overweight or even obese

You may want to Google, BMI by age. It gives a wider range.

Good info Rosi! Was thinking at goal weight I would be at the right weight and time to bulk up and move on to the building stage. The rest will would work itself out maybe? Body builders what’s your BMI?

Mine is 27.8 right now. So overweight. I focus on the mirror. BMI is only a pretty good indicator for people with little muscle mass.

definitely don't wait to build your muscles. better to be fit than correct to a graph. my bmi is 21 and I am not where I want to be.

I never been at normal weight, so for me is not critical but I like the normal word 😆
